The gargoyle is a .45 cal (.452 dia.) bigbore air rifle capable of effectively taking medium sized game out to 75 yards with proper shot placement. The standard power version of the gun will make 300 ft pounds of energy. There is a high power version that will make 470 ft pounds of energy. The gun is very capable of more energy useing heavier bullets, but I have not tested it as of yet. It has an adjustable trigger with sear and overtravel adjustments, a picatiny style scope rail, and a one lever bolt opening and cocking mechanisim.
The standard power version will get about 5 shots on a fill with round balls and about 4 or 5 if using conicals. The high power version will get two good full power shots with a effective but weaker finishing 3rd shot.
Pricing is 1000.00 for the standard version and 1200.00 for the high power version. Optional thumbhole and laminate stocks Are now available. The walnut thumbhole is 75.00 more than the standard rifle.

GARGOYLE .45
This bullet was fired out of a high power Gargoyle at an axis doe. The doe was hit at 55 yards, the bullet hit a rib going in and a rib going out and lodged by the hide on the opposite side. The deer went about 40 yards and piled up.
