I designed the original Gargoyle airgun in the winter of 2007, and took it on its first hunt January 2007. The gun performed great from the very start, and produced tight groups during the sight in session. The other hunters that witnessed this testing first hand were so impressed that they pretty much pushed me in to going into production on them. After some typical stresses of starting a new venture with "so many other irons in the fire", I decided to sell the design and the rights to it to a friend, Dan McVey in Jan of 2009. I still have about enough parts to finish out about 4 or 5 more rifles then the actual "built by LeRoy Gargoyles" will be only available on the used market. If you have a S/N 050 or above it was not made by me. I will make other rifles in the future when time permits, but working a full time job, running a business on the side, and my family life takes most of my free time. I still get things done but there is not enough hours in the day to do all I would like to. If you have questions about the Gargoyle, feel free to call. You can purchase the new Gargoyle from Adventures in Airguns.
